selfcenteredtortoise: Rocktopus We popped some proverbial cherries this past weekend when we took a handful of new fans to Coheed and Cambria along with us to our three-day HeedTrip. When we spoke of the band live, we talked about how rocktastic they were… but that it would get super real when that double-necked Gibson SG showed up. Which stuck with me: If two necks are better than one, would eight just cause my ears to cream and my brain to turn into poop? Definitely the best I’ve seen of the band so far, and we made true believers of those we brought along. Pick up The Afterman: Ascension if you haven’t yet. It’s the tits. This is for you, Children of the Fence!

selfcenteredtortoise: We updated our iPhones to iOS 6. We were impressed with everything. That is, everything except Apple’s new half-baked Maps app. Now we’re told that our local haunts are three cities over, among other things. Which has us worried, since we’ll be taking a little HeedTrip this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Speaking of… next week’s comic should launch the same day Coheed and Cambria’s new album The Afterman hits stores. Maybe you should follow us if you’re a fan of the band… Apologies for the quality of the upload this week. It’s one of the reasons we’re a day late. MangaStudio… she’s a fickle mistress. selfcenteredtortoise: We watched Dredd 3D a few nights ago. Definitely one of the best 3D movie I’ve seen. Anyways, there’s a scene where Dredd runs through this area where they’re making the Slo-Mo drug. Michelle and I, being the huge Breaking Bad fans that we are, started cracking jokes about Heisenberg being in the scene, particularly referencing episode 404 “Bullet Points”. So here we are… our first web comic! Hope you enjoy it! Michelle and I started a webcomic. I wanted us to have a way to practice writing and drawing on a weekly basis to better hone our craft. So this will be it. Be sure to follow!
