I’ve been championing Childish Gambino since 2010. At the time, I was lurking his Twitter and saw him replying to a fan about a particular track on Pointdexter, an album he released the year prior. I downloaded it and was impressed. A couple of months later Culdesac dropped and that was absolute fire. I started trying to shove in down everyone’s throat. A few bit. But others dismissed him as “the black dude from Community”.

Jump to last year when CAMP released. CG finally had a label… and finally I started seeing his name pop up more and more on my Twitter stream. I am beyond thrilled people are finally recognizing this man’s genius. He’s an absolute wordsmith.
